Potatoes are not a toxic food for rodents.
Contrary to popular belief, potatoes, whether raw or cooked, do not possess toxic properties that are harmful to mice. These rodents can consume potatoes without experiencing any significant adverse effects. The idea that they cause some kind of fatal bloating is a fallacy with no biological basis.
Offering potatoes to mice only provides them with an additional food source, which could indirectly encourage their presence rather than deter them. It’s a counterproductive strategy that does nothing to help eliminate the infestation.
