Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well until smooth.
3. Pour batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
4. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center
comes out clean.
5. Allow to cool completely before frosting (if desired).
Notes
• For best results, use room temperature ingredients.
• This cake stays moist for days if stored in an airtight container.
• Feel free to add chocolate chips or nuts to the batter for extra texture.
Optional Chocolate Frosting:
Mix 1/2 cup softened butter, 2/3 cup cocoa powder, 3 cups powdered sugar,
1/3 cup milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth. Spread over
cooled cake.
