Layering is a natural method for obtaining new plants without cutting the branch from the start.

1. Air Layering:
The bark is removed from an aerial branch, it is surrounded with damp moss or soil, then wrapped in plastic to encourage root development.

2. Simple Layering:
A flexible branch is partially buried while remaining attached to the parent plant. It develops roots, then it is separated.

3. Tip Layering:
Only the tip of a thin shoot is buried, leaving the upper part exposed. Perfect for plants with thin branches.
